Allen has over 20 years of advisory, brokerage and investment banking experience spanning the real estate and corporate securities markets. He has helped property developers, commercial sponsors, emerging growth companies, and private funds raise hundreds of millions in critical capital from institutional and high net worth investors.
A design and architecture wonk of the highest order, Allen left the stability of institutional real estate for the creativity and freedom offered by private practice with Coldwell Banker. His notable prior commercial real estate experience includes sourcing $16 million in joint venture equity for the development of a $56 million mixed-use project in Silicon Valley, and $20 million in LP fund equity for the acquisition of value-add multifamily and office properties.
Prior to real estate brokerage, Allen held senior capital markets advisory, institutional trading, and investment banking positions with Realty Mogul, Ascendiant Capital Markets, Merriman Capital, and Bank of America Securities. He began his career with the Private Client Group of Solomon Smith Barney in New York and has completed advanced coursework in real estate investment analysis at UCLA.

From becoming Pacific Coast Champion and a nationally-ranked equestrian as a young adult, through graduate school where she was top-of-class in Negotiations, and onto notable success as an executive and entrepreneur, Lauren has built and managed teams, projects, and entire companies that have raised the bar on innovation while driving millions in revenue and profit.
Following graduate school, Lauren was selected by Kathleen Brown (former California State Treasurer) to lead Bank of America's "Women's Banking Initiative", a multifacted program that measurably increased the bank's appeal and function to its female clients.
Following Bank of America, Lauren held senior-level operations and marketing positions with Bebe, Stella & Dot, and United Business Media. Her passion and ties to Los Angeles date back to grade school in Westwood and her undergraduate studies Downtown. She holds an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Economics from USC (Fight On Trojans!).

Married for 18 years, Lauren and Allen have been almost inseparable since meeting in 1997. They have partnered on several prior ventures and are thrilled to be working together again in the exciting world of Los Angeles real estate.
In 1999, they left their respective corporate jobs to co-found Rouze Media, an early online publisher of lifestyle content. In under a year, they led the firm from concept to acquisition by Playboy Enterprises in a well-publicized transaction.
In 2001, the pair launched Bodyhints, a multi-channel retailer of designer bodywear, swimwear, and loungewear with a 3,500 SF flagship store on West Broadway in SoHo (NYC) and an e-commerce website. Featured in Interior Design Magazine and twice named as “Best of New York” by New York Magazine, the store was frequented by celebrities, stylists, and the fashion press. Despite opening just one month after and one mile from the 9/11 tragedy, the store achieved annual revenue exceeding $1.5 million and was acquired by a multi-store operator in 2005.
Besides their entrepreneurial ventures, the couple has successfully invested in two adaptive reuse projects, in both cases the conversion of former industrial warehouses into loft condominiums.
Away from work, they are avid hikers, brunch aficionados, recreational golfers, and tournament poker players. They live in the Century Glen area and absolutely love introducing people to that wonderful corner of West L.A.
